• Small RVs (Class B and smaller Class C/camper vans, tent trailers): Inspections usually take about 2 to 3 hours. 

• Mid-size RVs (most Class C, camper trailers): Expect an inspection to take 3 to 5 hours. 

• Class A motorhomes, big fifth-wheels): Full inspections can take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours, with some extremely detailed or customized checks pushing toward the upper end. 

• Some services offer focused, essential inspections (excluding many “easily self-checked” or non-essential details) that can be completed in the 2–5 hour range regardless of type, though these will not be as thorough as full pre-purchase, “all systems” surveys.
